Westwood Lamp

This lamp from 1958 was designed by Tony Paul for Westwood. Shown in the black and white photo is Mr. Paul placing the lamp in the Westwood showroom he had just finished redesigning. The showroom was on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

The lamp is Bright Flemish Bronze and Hand Rubbed Oiled Walnut which measures 44 1/2 inches in height. The lamp shade, as shown in the black and white photo, is textured fabric with gold woven bands.

11/25/2007 The bidding is fast and furious over the 60″ model on ebay right now. Table size lamp still available - no orginal shade.

Hmmmm .. I wonder whose gonna win? There was the same one a couple weeks ago, but it was a floor model without the shade … the one currently has a shade
